Thanks for using OneBin! We, 8bit Company LLC, provide a task-organization and inventory platform that helps individuals and businesses organize information, track items, and manage workflows more efficiently. OneBin allows you to create entries, add descriptions, upload content, and use automation features to keep everything accessible in one place. By using our website, app, or services (collectively called "OneBin"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("TOS"). If you're using OneBin on behalf of a business, you confirm that you're authorized to accept these terms for that business. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use OneBin.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these TOS at any time. It's your responsibility to review them periodically. Continued use of OneBin after changes means you accept the updates.

Service Availability

OneBin is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Service disruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, AI model updates, or issues beyond our control.

8bit Company LLC is not liable for any loss of data, access issues, AI output inaccuracies, or other disruptions. Users accept the risks of using OneBin, and we are not responsible for any resulting business or personal losses.

License

As long as you follow these TOS, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use OneBin. You retain ownership of all content you upload or create. By using OneBin, you grant us a limited right to process your content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the service, including through automated and AI-assisted features. We may use anonymized, aggregated, or non-identifiable data to improve system performance and functionality.

AI and Automated Processing

OneBin uses automated systems and artificial intelligence features to help process user inputs, generate suggestions, organize data, apply tags, analyze images or text, and enhance usability. These features operate based on user-provided content and are intended to assist, not replace, human judgment.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and using any AI-assisted results.
• OneBin does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated content.

You should not rely on AI outputs for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

Usage Policies

You agree not to use OneBin in ways that:

• Involve scraping, automated abuse, or attempts to reverse-engineer AI or system behavior.
• Include unlawful, misleading, harmful, or deceptive content.
• Attempt to manipulate, overload, or misuse AI-powered features.
• Interfere with the service or security of OneBin.

We reserve the right to restrict or block access to OneBin at any time for violations of these terms.

Privacy and Legal Compliance

You are responsible for complying with all privacy and data protection laws related to the content you upload or process using OneBin. This includes any personal, sensitive, or third-party data entered into the system. OneBin does not provide legal advice or guarantee compliance with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws.

Data Retention and Backups

You are responsible for backing up your own data. While we strive for stability, we do not guarantee data retention or AI processing continuity, and we are not liable for lost, deleted, corrupted, or misprocessed data. OneBin should not be the sole record-keeping system for valuable or irreplaceable information.

Unintentional Access

Although we take data security seriously, we are not liable for unintentional or unauthorized access to your data. This includes access resulting from shared links, QR codes, AI-generated summaries, or user-configured permissions.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. This includes managing access permissions, reviewing AI-generated content, and safeguarding login credentials. We are not responsible for misuse of your account by third parties.

User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for any content you upload or create in OneBin, including text, images, tags, notes, or metadata. This responsibility applies whether content is entered manually or generated with AI assistance. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

Third-Party Services

OneBin may use or integrate with third-party services, including AI providers and infrastructure partners. We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or data handling practices of these services. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

Beta Features

OneBin may offer experimental or beta features, including AI-powered tools. These features may change, produce unexpected results, or be removed without notice. Use is voluntary and at your own risk.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to OneBin at our discretion for violations of these TOS or behavior that is harmful to the service, including abuse of AI features.

Support and Contact

Support is available via our help center or email. We aim to be helpful, but we do not guarantee response times, specific outcomes, or fixes for AI-related behavior.

Liquidated Damages

If you break these TOS, you agree to pay damages as outlined in our penalty schedule. These amounts represent reasonable estimates of harm, not penalties.

Fees

Some OneBin features may require payment, including AI-enhanced capabilities. Fees are clearly posted and non-refundable unless required by law.

Free for Life Plan

A “Free for Life” plan grants continued access to designated free features for as long as OneBin remains available. Feature sets, including AI functionality, may change over time.

Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, software, and system designs related to OneBin are owned by 8bit Company LLC or its licensors. Your content remains yours, but you grant us permission to process it as described in these terms.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 8bit Company LLC from claims or damages arising from your content, misuse of OneBin, or reliance on AI-generated outputs.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages, including those arising from AI-generated content, lost data, incorrect outputs, or service interruptions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes related to OneBin will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings.

Governing Law

These TOS are governed by the laws of the state where 8bit Company LLC is registered.

General Provisions

These TOS constitute the entire agreement between you and OneBin. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect.
