Privacy Policy
Understand what’s stored in your OneBin account.
Last updated: September 25, 2026
Information you provide
When you register, OneBin stores your email address, a protected password hash, and a record of when you accepted the Terms & Conditions and this policy. A name is not required at registration; you can add one to your profile later. We also store the tasks, projects, preferences, and other content you choose to save in your workspace.
How information is used
Account information is used to sign you in, manage your profile, verify your email address, recover access, and send account-related messages. Workspace content is processed to provide the features you use. Security records help protect accounts, investigate misuse, and manage sessions.
Cookies and security records
OneBin uses cookies to keep you signed in and protect account actions. Blocking these cookies can prevent sign-in and other account features from working. Session records include expiry and revocation information and security information derived from your connection and browser. Passwords are stored as hashes rather than readable passwords.
Optional features and service providers
Hosting and email services process information needed to operate OneBin and deliver account messages. When enabled and used, optional features such as AI assistance, email or text capture, and subscriptions may send relevant information to the providers supporting those features. For example, AI assistance processes the text you submit, and payment services process checkout and subscription information.
Information may also need to be disclosed to comply with applicable law or a valid legal process, or to investigate abuse and protect accounts.
SMS consent and mobile information
If you choose OneBin SMS, we store your mobile number, verification status, and dated opt-in and opt-out records, including the disclosure you accepted. We do not sell mobile information or share it with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared for those purposes. Messaging providers process only the information needed to deliver and operate the SMS service. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.
Your controls
In your profile settings, you can update your name and email address. Account security settings let you change your password and sign out sessions. Workspace tools let you edit, delete, and export supported content. You can request account closure from your account settings.
Retention and account closure
Account and workspace information is kept to provide your account and the features you use. Account closure deactivates access; it does not currently erase stored workspace content. Records, including security, account closure, or payment records, may remain where needed for operational or legal purposes. Closure is not a promise of immediate deletion from every system or service provider.
Policy updates
We will publish revisions here and update the date above. New uses of information remain subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law. The Terms & Conditionsexplain the ground rules for using OneBin.
